Clamming Around!
Recently, all our kids went clamming at a local beach The kids sure had a blast…
With Mt. Baker as a beautiful backdrop…we began our fun.
This is all you can see “popping” out on the beach…
They definately don’t win any beauty prizes!
As you can tell by the pictures they thoroughly enjoyed teaming up to catch these very illusive clams.
even Kayla was getting the general idea…I think!
Finally, success at last! I think it was worth it!
Little pieces of technology
One part of missionary life that every kid remembers well are the long car rides. When I was a child the endless hours of Interstate never seemed to end. You can only look at so many trees or so many fields of grass before they get really old. I remember trying “anything” to make those trips exciting. One time we were playing the license game as we drove through eastern Montana…anyone who has driven those roads know that seeing any car is lucky and when you do meet up with them, they have a pretty good chance of being from Montana. LOL Anyway, we purchased a portable DVD player for our children and it has been lifesaver for those long hauls across the United States. It is so nice to drive for hours and never hear a peep out of the kids except for a chuckle here or there…now we try not to abuse it, but who can’t help but be thankful for little pieces of technology that make our lives a little more enjoyable.
Logan’s First Deer
We are excited that he was able to learn a lot about hunting this year. It will have to be enough until next time we come back from PNG. We are proud of him.

Awana – impacting lives for an eternity!
Our kids have thoroughly enjoyed having the opportunity to participate in AWANA this year. Thank you, First Baptist Church of Camdenton for going out of your way to make it a fun learning environment. Each one of them enjoyed their leaders and had a blast trying to memorize as many verses as they could in a week. Competition was soaring during build your own car week…each boxed car represented hours of work by themselves. Our prayer is that God’s Word will take deep root in their hearts and lives and will impact them for eternity. I still remember with much fondness my years of AWANA in Livington, MT.
