Our Testimonies
Philip
Philip was born in Manaus, Brazil, where his parents serve as missionaries. He accepted Christ as his Savior at the age of six. After finishing high school, he spent a year helping his parents with their tribal ministry. It was at this time that he decided to give his life in service to the Lord to work with tribal people. He then attended Pensacola Christian College, studying Bible and Computer Science. It was here that he met Kristi.
Kristi
Kristi was born in Columbus, Ohio. She accepted Christ at the age of seven. Even as a young child, she desired to be a missionary when she grew up, but it wasn’t until her teen years that she felt a genuine burden for the lost.
Our Family
We were married July 29, 1995. After finishing college, we went on a one-year missions trip to Brazil. We then successfully completed the three-year training program which specialized in linguistic and tribal culture analysis. Since then we have served in Brazil for four years and most recently during the last 4 years years have been ministering in Papua New Guinea. The Lord has now blessed our family with five wonderful children – Jessica, Karina, Logan, Olivia, and Kayla. (You can read more about them in their own sections.)
We are excited about the opportunity that the Lord has given us to serve Him in Papua New Guinea. We are thankful that Philip was able to be exposed to tribal living during his childhood. This experience along with his computer knowledge will give him valuable resources to use in our current ministry.
